Preview Fridays

GW Law will hold three identical on-campus Preview Fridays on February 7March 14, and April 11. We hope to see you on one of these days! Each Preview Friday will include opportunities to get to know the GW Law community, including deans, current students, and perhaps most importantly, your future classmates.

Please note: Unfortunately, the February 7 and March 14 Preview Fridays are at capacity, and registration is closed. If you are not able to make it to our April Preview Friday, please check out our spring tour schedule, regional admitted student gatherings, and student ambassador virtual drop-in hours for additional ways to connect with the GW Law community and your fellow admitted students. We also encourage you to join the Fall 2025 entering class Facebook page and admitted student Discord.

We look forward to meeting you soon! Until then, if you have questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

FAQs:

Does the Law School offer reimbursement for travel expenses? Yes. Reimbursement of up to $300 for travel expenses (hotel and/or air, bus, or train tickets) will be available upon your matriculation at GW Law in August. Please hold on to all Preview Friday travel-related receipts until Orientation. The deadline for reimbursement requests is September 14, 2025.

Do you have hotel recommendations? Yes. Please check out our negotiated hotel lodging recommendations and discounts available to campus visitors.

Can I bring a guest to Preview Friday? Unfortunately, no. Due to space restraints, we are unable to accommodate guests during Preview Friday. However, GW Law is located in the heart of Washington – very close to the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and other Washington DC attractions sure to be of interest to any guests who may be in town with you!

What is the closest Metro stop to campus? The Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro station is on campus and just a few blocks from the law school.

Is parking available? Yes. If you plan to drive to campus, park in the G Street Garage or the University Student Center Garage.  Additional information can be found on the GW Visitor Parking webpage. We will provide you with a parking voucher to cover the cost upon exiting the garage – just ask an Admissions representative during Preview Friday!

Is there a dress code? Casual dress is fine. We want you to be comfortable!
